The IGNITE internship program is designed for high school and college students, including those in graduate and law school programs. Participants gain valuable professional experience while building the tools, self-confidence and leadership skills that can be readily applied to future professional challenges and pursuits. At IGNITE interns are carefully prepared to bridge the gap between the academic and professional world.
We welcome applicants who have demonstrated academic excellence, a keen interest in advancing women in politics or desire a career in public service. Students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Major Projects
Major projects are subject to program needs of the current semester and the location of your internship. Some of the major projects interns are working on include:
- College Chapter Website & Blog Maintenance

- Development: Fundraising, Prospect Research & Annual Fund Support

General Responsibilities
Daily duties will vary by your internship location. You will work with your assigned supervisor to establish a regular schedule for the duration of your internship: 8-12 weeks, usually 10-15 hours per week. General duties may include but are not limited to:
- Miscellaneous Administrative tasks
- Program Support and Research
- Event Planning and Logistics
- Website Management
- Data Entry & Analysis
- Provide additional support to team members
