The 2016 election yielded little to no change in the number of women in office. There has never been a more important time to organize. The only way we reach political parity is if every single ballot for every single seat in the US has an equal number of women and men. To do that, we need hundreds of thousands of women to run. That is a next generation proposition.
Join IGNITE and the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State for a cross generational conversation focused on how the Atlanta community can organize to support young women as they step up and own their fair share of political power.
Network with prominent elected women and politically ambitious young women who are positioning themselves to run for office in the near future.
